The Cafenorte Coffee Campus was inaugurated in August 2017, as the Barista School [Escuela de Barismo] arose and merged with the Coffee Tasting and Quality Center [Centro de Catación y Calidad del Café].

Its premises include the Coffee Tasting and Quality Laboratory [Laboratorio de Catación y Calidad del Café], the first SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) certified laboratory, a Climate-Controlled Warehouse for microlots, along with the Threshing and Roasting Center and its most recent venture, the Barista School, a one-of-a-kind facility in the country in terms of equipment and infrastructure, thus closing the “Seed to Cup” cycle.

Since its inauguration, children of Cafenorte associates, coffee shop owners and people passionate about the art of coffee, have taken the Barista I, Barista II, Late Art I, II and III courses, learning the required tools and techniques to enter the fascinating world of coffee as a professional.
